Secondary English Teacher Education Program at KUThe Secondary English teacher education program at KU prepares pre-service educators to teach students in 6th through 12th grade classrooms. The program combines literature-based theory and knowledge with culturally readings and discussions.  Courses taught by the KU English Department faculty offer students learning options in rhetoric, linguistics and literature. Benefits of the program include:Variety of Field Experiences - Students in this program at KU will complete field experiences in rural, urban, and suburban communities at the secondary level.
