The Applied Behavioral Science concentration within the Human Biology major enables students to emphasize lecture, practicum, and laboratory courses in applied behavior science. Students can explore the interdisciplinary aspects of this major by selecting courses from affiliated departments, such as Anthropology, Biology, Psychology, or Speech-Language-Hearing, to meet the concentration's degree requirements. Within this concentration, students must complete courses in two of the following categories: Applied Behavioral Science; Development: Typical and Atypical; Community Health and Development; or Evolution, Culture, and Behavior. For detailed course options, refer to the BA Human Biology, Applied Behavioral Science concentration degree requirement check sheet. We strongly encourage students to participate in undergraduate research and practicum opportunities in Applied Behavioral Science, as well as to engage with faculty members. Additional information on these opportunities and faculty interests is available through the Department of Applied Behavioral Science.
