About the course

The Double Language Concentration requires 32 junior/senior credit hours, except when one language is Korean, in which case 30 hours are needed, with at least 9 hours completed at KU. Note that these requirements were updated in September 2013; please consult your EALC advisor for the latest enrollment details.Specific components include: CHIN 504-508 (10 credits) and/or JPN 306-310 (10 credits) along with JPN 504-508 and/or KOR 504-506 (8 credits). Additionally, select two premodern culture courses from China, Japan, or Korea options for a combined 6 credits, and do the same for two modern culture courses from those regions, also totaling 6 credits.
