Our curriculum is geared toward meeting the competencies for those taking the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Exam, given by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. Acceptable certification is: Standard First Aid with CPR/AED-Adult & Infant CPR, a 9 hr course, American Red Cross, or Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED-Adult & Infant, CPR, 7 ½ hour course, American Heart Association. Spring applicants for Fall Admission must submit current certification on or before the first day of fall classes. Failure to do so will result in non-acceptance into the program, and administratively being dropped from Health flagged courses.
