The B.S. Biology-Teaching Biology major provides students not only with a strong foundation in biology but also with the courses required for gaining their Kansas state teaching licensure for the secondary level. This major is administered in collaboration with the UKanTeach program. Core courses in this major include cell structure and function, ecology, and evolutionary biology, as well as a course on research methods in biology.B.S.
