The 120-credit-hour program includes KU Core general education (plus MATH 115, PSYC 104, and a lab science), 20 hours of foundation business courses, 18 hours of core business classes, 19 hours of advanced accounting, six hours of business electives (320-level or higher), and a capstone in Business Policy & Strategy (MGMT 498).Business students must complete the International Dimension Requirement (IDR) via fourth-level foreign language proficiency, six credits in approved study abroad, or international studies/business courses. Graduates are qualified for accounting roles at organizations and firms, with a strong foundation for careers or graduate study; the program supports the 150-hour CPA requirement and Master of Accounting.
