Our extended sports science degree gives you a wide knowledge of the subject and has an extra year to prepare you for degree-level study. You’ll need lower entry points than for our three-year course.Our extended degree in sports science will develop your knowledge of sports physiology, biomechanics, nutrition and psychology, and performance analysis. Using advanced sports science equipment, you'll explore these areas in the lab and through the study of a sport or health-related exercise of your choice.The degree begins with a foundation year to build up your study skills for subsequent years. You'll then follow the same curriculum offered on our three-year course.You'll put your new skills and knowledge into practice through work experience.
