With its mix of natural and physical sciences and emphasis on sustainability, our BSc Hons Environmental Science degree prepares you for careers that have real impact on the world.Our degree in Environmental Science will develop your understanding of the interactions between living systems and the physical landscape and its processes, and how society affects these. Through a range of modules, you'll investigate solutions to environmental issues from scientific, political, legal and philosophical perspectives. You will document the human impact on the landscape and explore environmental conflicts and issues.Fieldwork is an important aspect of your studies and is funded by the university. In previous years, students have visited the Lake District, New Forest and south-east Spain.Potential careers for our Environmental Science graduates include management roles in the environmental, land, conservation and heritage sectors.What you should know about this course
