You'll be taught by world-leading academics and theatre practitioners with exceptional partnerships with industry.Take part in a range of modules from devising to technical theatre, directing and writing. Hone your performance skills through large-scale public productions and create your own Theatre Company in the final year to kick-start your professional future.Our 4-year 'sandwich' mode includes a professional practice year, where you work with one of our industry partners or study abroad in the USA.What you should know about this course

• This course focuses on live performance with modules ranging from contemporary performance skills to modern dramatic texts and technical theatre.

• All modules combine theory and practice, so you can acquire expertise in performing, theatre making, critical writing and public speaking.

• Specific performance practices such as applied drama, physical theatre and contemporary performance allow you to show your work in different contexts and platforms.

• Trips to London West End Theatre and fringe theatre scene are part of your learning and are embedded in the course modules.

• Each summer we take a team of students to perform in the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
