This degree equips you with essential investigative skills, tools, and techniques for cybersecurity and digital forensics. You will gain practical experience using current tools for developing, maintaining, and designing secure systems. Key modules include Penetration Testing and Ethical Vulnerability Scanning, Computer Forensics, and Information Security. You will study security needs for networks, users, and applications, along with forensic methods for evidence collection and preservation, and explore related legal, social, ethical, and professional issues.You will develop expertise in computer and organizational security, computer crime, police and forensic methods, and evidence requirements. The program enables mastery of techniques for critically evaluating and modeling security, performance, and quality of systems. University of Greenwich is an academic partner with The Council for Registered Ethical Security Testers (CREST), and the degree is fully certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), part of GCHQ.
