This three-year Chemical Engineering degree equips you to become a professional engineer capable of solving real-world problems with practical solutions. It explores key topics aligned with cutting-edge research, new technologies, and emerging growth areas, including engineering science, particle technology, management, pharmaceutical development, and bioengineering. Undergraduate engineering courses share common Year 1 modules, allowing flexibility to continue or switch to another course based on your interests. Graduates are prepared for careers in chemical and process engineering, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage industries.Designed in consultation with the IChemE and leading companies, the course emphasizes hands-on teaching at the Faculty of Engineering and Science. Chemical engineering focuses on converting raw materials into everyday products safely and cost-effectively. It is taught at the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent.
