The Portuguese program encompasses the study of languages, literatures, and cultures from Brazil, Portugal, and the broader Portuguese-speaking world. At Glasgow, it offers a diverse curriculum with small-group sessions led by native speakers from Portugal and Brazil, alongside established ties to the Instituto Camões. Students gain access to a comprehensive Language Resources Centre featuring audiovisual, digital, and printed materials.The Greek program focuses on classical Greek language, literature, and ancient Greek civilization, with opportunities for students to visit archaeological sites and museums in Greece as part of their studies.
