The study of history examines change and continuity in human societies over time. At Glasgow, we provide a comprehensive programme spanning medieval to modern eras and global contexts. Our offerings include small-group teaching, diverse assessments such as policy papers and blogs, and personalised feedback sessions. We maintain prominent research centres in areas like gender history, war studies, slavery studies, American studies, and Scottish and Celtic studies, informed by world-leading expertise in Scottish, British, European, U.S., global history, as well as slavery, gender, and war-related fields.Mathematics is an expansive discipline exploring numerical, geometrical, and logical relationships. Our programme offers a wide selection of courses during honours years, while our ambassador scheme enables students to gain hands-on teaching experience in schools, fostering essential professional skills.
