The Aerospace Systems program focuses on the design and application of onboard systems for aircraft and spacecraft, aiming to enhance vehicle operation and performance. With advancements in aircraft development and growing system complexity, demand for engineers in software, hardware design, simulation, and expert systems is increasing. Graduates have secured roles with companies such as QinetiQ, Logica, BAE Systems, Thales, and Unisys.The program is accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society and is seeking reaccreditation from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. High-performing BEng students may transfer to the MEng program after completing years 1 through 3.
