Graduates from similar programmes have secured roles in publishing, journalism, translation, education, accountancy, financial services, and public sectors, or pursued postgraduate studies. The curriculum mandates an employability module, such as Humanities in the Workplace or Making a Career in Publishing, or one for further study preparation, while integrating digital and translation literacy throughout.Additionally, the 'Employment Experience' option allows students to spend their third year on graduate-level work placements in the UK. This experience fosters key employability and interpersonal skills, boosting confidence, enhancing CVs, and developing competencies sought by employers. Students select their sector and arrange placements, with university guidance provided in the first two years and final approval ensuring a meaningful opportunity.
