This programme focuses on understanding biological systems at the cellular and biochemical level, emphasising cellular biochemistry through specialist modules that explore why the cell is the functional unit of life. The four-year course mirrors the BSc Biochemistry programme for the first three years, culminating in a research-focused MSci project.Graduates pursue careers in biotechnological, pharmaceutical and related industries, with options for further study including PhD, MSc or MRes programmes.
