Our BA in Journalism and Politics places you at the forefront of global political developments, from UK policy updates to international unrest. This programme deepens your knowledge of worldwide politics and enhances analytical skills, while integrating multimedia training to engage broader audiences and refine your journalistic style, alongside a strong grasp of shaping global issues.You will study major areas of political science, ranked top in the UK (REF 2014), combined with practical journalism modules using radio, television, and online platforms. Choose from topics like International Relations, UK and European Politics, Democracy, production skills, and international journalism. In your final year, consolidate learning through a multimedia project on a political science theme, as part of a leading institution's diverse community in the Departments of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies, and Government. Optional modules allow further customisation.
