The course explores the historical evolution of cities, their ongoing complexities, and emerging opportunities, while addressing global challenges that affect public health, well-being, and access to essential services like roads, water, housing, and transportation.Students will acquire skills to influence the future of cities worldwide, using Dundee and its surroundings as a practical learning environment. At Level 3, options include specialising in urban design or environmental sustainability, culminating in a major individual project. Additionally, international trips to destinations such as the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Malta, Portugal, and Spain may be available.
