This course exemplifies the distinguished Scottish Liberal Arts tradition, promoting in-depth study across a broad spectrum of subjects and disciplines. It offers the flexibility to explore multiple areas of interest without requiring specialization, while also allowing for focused pursuit if preferred. Students can select from a wide array of MA subjects in the humanities and social sciences, including Creative Writing, Economics, English, Environmental Science, Environmental Sustainability, European Languages, Film Studies, Geography, History, International Business, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations, Psychology, and Urban Planning. We blend tradition with innovation, enabling exploration of topics from Shakespeare to human rights, science fiction to African history, and macroeconomics to polar environments.
