Computers affect every part of our lives. Technology is rapidly evolving, and the need for computer scientists to work across almost every industry continues to grow.During this degree, you'll work at the cutting-edge of technology. You will develop machine learning algorithms, web applications, and multi-platform games. You'll learn how to use technology to find solutions that can change lives worldwide.You'll become part of an exciting and innovative environment, working with real-world organisations to create applications from requirements gathering to final product. We work closely with industries on a local and international level to ensure that the topics you study are practical and relevant. You'll put this experience into practice through short-term summer work placement modules.You'll gain an understanding of the theoretical, scientific, and mathematical components of computing. This includes:

• algorithms for data processing and analysis

• software engineering principles and practices

• interactive entertainment and games programming

• You'll also learn about software development, physical computing, and data management. You'll gain an understanding of various programming languages, including Java, C++, and C#.
