Biomedical Engineering, BEng (Hons)

This course provides instruction from engineers, scientists, and clinicians, offering a comprehensive understanding of how engineering enhances patient care. Students will apply engineering principles to address healthcare challenges, such as developing surgical devices, improving medical instrumentation, or innovating medical imaging techniques. Participants will gain practical experience in clinical settings and learn about human anatomy and physiology to appreciate the application of their technologies.The curriculum covers design, optics, instrumentation, and medical sciences, while developing research and business management skills in the biomedical sector. In the final year, students focus on a research project tied to current advancements, applying acquired knowledge and selecting an elective module to tailor their studies.
