The program commences with two years of pre-professional coursework, covering topics such as human development, anatomy, physiology, public health, psychology, statistics, and diversity. Students then advance to professional courses and experiences, including gross anatomy, neuroscience, assistive technology, prosthetics, orthotics, and occupational therapy processes.Subsequently, graduate-level classes and hands-on fieldwork build clinical skills, such as performing evaluations and interventions, supporting underserved populations, and using daily activities to foster independence. As a student at our Research 1 University, you will collaborate with peers on research under an OT faculty mentor to benefit future occupational therapy recipients.
