Social Policy with Quantitative Research Methods, BSc (Hons)

This course is well-suited for students keen to explore the application of numerical data in social policy. It delivers practical and analytical training to enhance career opportunities and build a strong foundation for postgraduate studies, with no prior statistical knowledge required.Roughly two-thirds of the program follows the single honours Social Policy curriculum, focusing on core concepts like inequality, risk, and need, as well as the social processes, policies, and institutions that affect wellbeing. Students will apply social, political, and economic theories to analyze these issues in a global context. The remaining third offers interdisciplinary training in quantitative methods.
