About the course

This course is designed to cultivate well-rounded veterinary nursing professionals equipped with essential knowledge, technical skills, critical thinking, effective communication, adaptability, and a passion for lifelong learning. It adopts a holistic approach to address the demands of the veterinary sector at local, regional, and national levels, while preparing students for careers in veterinary nursing and broader fields such as animal health management, academia, research, and the pharmaceutical industry, subject to provisional accreditation by the RCVS.Note that this course does not award qualified teacher status (QTS), which is required for teaching positions in state schools in England or Wales.
