This degree programme integrates the study of languages with the history, politics, cultures, and religions of Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Students will acquire in-depth knowledge of ongoing debates on the cultures, histories, and religious affairs of Middle Eastern societies and their ties to Europe. The curriculum offers expertise in two languages—one from Arabic, Hebrew, or Turkish, and another from French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, or Polish—with all except French available at beginner levels.
