Our accredited Speech and Language Therapy BMedSci at the University of Sheffield integrates clinical practice, theoretical knowledge, and case-based learning to prepare students for rewarding careers supporting individuals with communication or swallowing difficulties. This three-year degree, delivered by qualified therapists, researchers, and clinicians, builds expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and aiding children and adults with conditions such as strokes, learning disabilities, speech sound disorders, or autism. Students study linguistics, psychology, speech pathology, and the impacts of sociology and social psychology, while developing research skills for evidence-based healthcare.Why pursue this course?
