Our BA Economics programme offers a broad foundation in economics, exposing you to specialist areas with a focus on real-world applications. In Year 1, you build core quantitative skills in mathematical and statistical methods alongside foundational principles. Years 2 and 3 allow specialisation in applied (BA) or methodological (BSc) pathways, chosen after Year 2, with shared core and optional modules initially.The final year features specialist modules, including the flagship Economics in Action, applying skills to contemporary issues via projects that boost employability. A year-long paid placement with top employers like the Bank of England or PwC is available post-Year 2. Graduates are equipped for economist roles across sectors.
