This dual honours degree integrates advanced mathematical and technical skills with their practical application to real-world economic issues and policy. Economics and mathematics complement each other, fostering analytical skills for sound economic reasoning and effective problem-solving. In the first year, students focus mainly on mathematics modules while building foundational knowledge in microeconomic and macroeconomic analysis, including their roles in policy.In subsequent years, you can select modules from both subjects to suit your interests and undertake a year-long paid work placement after the second year for UK-based experience.
