About the course

Our four-year degrees extend our BSc programs by one year, offering advanced specialisation. In the fourth year, students enhance research and analytical skills, with opportunities to contribute to publications and deliver conference-style presentations on their findings.Computer Science with AI explores machine intelligence, including bio-inspired algorithms, their links to biological cognition, and the essence of consciousness. Building on the foundational elements of our Computer Science MComp, the program allows specialisation in areas like speech recognition, language processing, or robotics. From the second year, students develop AI applications through team projects for external clients, followed by advanced modules in machine learning, text processing, and bio-inspired robotics. In the final year, participants engage in group research with faculty, potentially joining Genesys Solutions for practical software development. Graduates emerge as skilled computer scientists, adept team players, communicators, and system designers. Why pursue this course? It offers research collaboration through group projects, professional skills development, access to cutting-edge facilities, and comprehensive student support.
