Our three-year BSc Chemistry course is built around the cutting-edge science that's going to solve big global challenges. You will gain the fundamental knowledge that every chemist needs for a successful career.Shaped by a focus on sustainability, this degree equips you with the skills of a forward-thinking 21st century chemist – ready to take your career to the next level.Accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry, a three-year Chemistry BSc from Sheffield teaches you the range of skills and knowledge that employers look for in a chemist.Sustainability modules are part of our core teaching, and you’ll learn about this right from the start. In the first two years, we focus on the fundamental concepts and skills you need to unlock a wide range of optional modules later, including environmental, biological, medicinal, computational and astro-chemistry.As a chemistry student at Sheffield, you’ll have regular tutorials to delve deeper into the complex topics covered in lectures.
