The Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) / Bachelor of Social Sciences is a five-year double degree designed for full-time study. This program equips students to enhance lives through direct support for vulnerable individuals and advocacy for political change, while exploring how social workers and scientists create meaningful, transformative impacts.Gain hands-on experience in fields like mental health, counselling, community work, sociology, psychology, and Indigenous community engagement. Students will examine complex political, international, social, environmental, and economic issues using advanced research and practical skills. Guided by industry experts, the curriculum includes theoretical and applied classes, two social work placements, and opportunities for projects and internships in Australia or abroad. Graduates emerge with strong networks, real-world experience, and accreditation from the Australian Association of Social Workers.
