The Bachelor of Design/Bachelor of Education (Secondary) is a four-year double degree designed to convert creative thinking into the expertise needed to educate future generations. Students will cultivate professional design skills while gaining preparation to teach visual arts at the high school level.This program explores diverse student learning styles and evidence-based teaching strategies, allowing participants to apply educational insights to enhance their design expertise in graphics, as well as in areas like objects, experiences, interaction, or 3D visualisation. Through 80 days of practical teaching experience, students acquire essential tools and interpersonal skills, building comprehensive creative abilities under expert guidance. The degree also offers strong industry connections to foster career development from start to finish.
