Combined Degrees programmes typically allow students to adjust the weighting of each subject by 25% after the first year, providing flexibility in their studies. However, students on Business or Economics pathways combined with another subject cannot increase from 25% to 50% or 50% to 75%, and transfers from 50% to 75% in Law are not possible. For more information, refer to the Combined Degrees webpages at liverpool.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/combined-degrees.Selecting a programme with a 'Year in Industry' involves a paid placement in the media sector during the third year, supported by the Department and School of the Arts. A reflective written account linking this experience to academic studies will contribute to the final degree result, followed by a fourth year of study in Liverpool. Alternatively, the programme offers a Year in China at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in Suzhou, where students study BA China Studies in English, or a Year Abroad at partner universities worldwide. Applications for these options are available after arriving at Liverpool, but combining a Year in Industry with a Year Abroad is not permitted.
A local representative of The University of Liverpool in Singapore is available online to assist you with enquiries about this course.
