The Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) programme explores interdisciplinary insights into key contemporary challenges. It provides essential skills for engaging with current political, philosophical, and economic debates, enabling graduates to pursue diverse career opportunities. Participants develop frameworks for analysing political and philosophical issues, alongside quantitative tools for addressing economic and political questions.Politics focuses on the decisions political systems face, the processes that sustain or alter them, and the concepts underpinning political analysis. Philosophy fosters analytical rigour, logical reasoning, and exploration of knowledge acquisition and ethical decision-making. Economics examines resource allocation and decision-making by consumers, firms, and governments, playing a vital role in policy-making, business operations, and global economic shifts.
