By the programme's conclusion, students specialise in a chosen area of mathematical interest. From Year 3, the focus shifts exclusively to the degree subject. Flexibility allows switching between BSc and MMath programmes until the start of Year 4, contingent on strong performance. Additionally, an accelerated option enables entry in Year 2, shortening the BSc to three years with an immediate emphasis on mathematics.
