The LLB programme at the University of Edinburgh is designed to equip students for a legal career in Scotland, offering a strong foundation for further professional development. It meets the standards of the Law Society of Scotland and the Faculty of Advocates, ensuring graduates acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue roles as solicitors or advocates in the Scottish legal system.Beyond legal practice, the LLB provides excellent preparation for diverse careers, such as in financial services, politics, journalism, public policy, and government.
