Our joint programmes enable students to pursue law in conjunction with another specified academic field. Spanning four years, the curriculum draws from courses offered by both the Law School and the School of Social and Political Science. The LLB Law and Sociology degree fosters in-depth knowledge of legal theory, concepts, and principles.Additionally, it develops an understanding of how individual decisions are shaped by broader social influences and can be interpreted within their societal context. By examining patterns and structures in human interactions, the programme encourages empathy and a multifaceted perspective on the world. Sociology, in essence, explores the impact of social forces on personal choices and their contextual analysis.
A local representative of The University of Edinburgh in Singapore is available online to assist you with enquiries about this course.
