Law and Social Anthropology, LLB (Hons)

Joint programmes allow you to study law alongside another named academic discipline. Over four years of study you will take a range of courses from both the Law School and the school with which your programme is combined. Social anthropology is the comparative study of human behaviour and ideas in their social contexts. Societies around the world vary enormously in their:

The joint LLB in Law and Social Anthropology aims to promote advanced knowledge and understanding of the theory, concepts and rules of the law. The programme will also enable you to study human conduct and thought, their variations, and the common humanity that underlies them.
