Our joint programmes enable students to pursue law in conjunction with another academic field. Spanning four years, the curriculum draws from courses offered by both the Law School and the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures. The LLB Law and French programme fosters in-depth knowledge of legal theory, concepts, and principles, while also covering a major global language used across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. In addition to intensive French language training, students will examine Francophone culture—including literature and cinema—alongside political history and philosophical ideas. The programme features a mandatory year abroad in Year 3 at a French-taught institution, providing an immersive cultural experience that enhances legal and linguistic abilities.
