Law and Business, LLB (Hons)

Our joint programmes enable students to pursue law in conjunction with another discipline, such as business, over a four-year period. This involves coursework from both the Law School and Business School, highlighting key interconnections in areas like property rights, contracting, and business practices. The LLB Law and Business programme fosters advanced understanding of legal theories, concepts, and rules, while exploring the global dynamics of modern business and management.Studying business equips you to address social, political, environmental, and cultural challenges in contemporary organisations, including businesses, governments, and non-profits. Guided by leading professionals and researchers, you will build competencies in authentic leadership, ethical practices, entrepreneurship, and communication. This prepares you for diverse roles in fields such as accountancy, strategy, marketing, human resources, data analytics, and innovation. Additionally, the Business School offers development opportunities through Edinburgh Awards, mentoring, and participation in societies and events, enhancing essential graduate skills.
