This joint honours programme allows you to study two different European languages in their diverse cultural contexts.With a long history of cultural achievement, migration and diaspora, German and Portuguese are your gateway to a great many countries and cultures in Europe, South America and Africa. Through intensive language study, including a year abroad, you will have the opportunity to acquire advanced spoken and written skills in both German and Portuguese.In addition to your language classes, you will explore aspects of German-language and Lusophone cultures.
