Classical Studies, MA (Hons)

In the MA in Classical Studies, students engage in an interdisciplinary exploration of the classical world, encompassing history, archaeology, and literature. Optional study of ancient Greek or Latin may also be included.This program draws on the diverse evidence of the Graeco-Roman world, allowing learners to examine it from various disciplinary angles for a comprehensive understanding of Greek and Roman civilisations. Through a multidisciplinary approach, it offers a well-rounded view of European civilisation's origins via philological, historical, and archaeological methods.
