Artificial Intelligence (AI) involves developing systems that exhibit intelligent behavior. Research is motivated by two key objectives: understanding natural intelligence through computer models and creating technologies for systems capable of intelligent decisions and actions, positioning AI as both a scientific and engineering discipline. Applications span from smart controllers in household devices to advanced systems that can converse in English, play games, conduct intelligent web searches, or serve as robot brains. We provide a diverse range of AI courses led by experts, allowing students to focus on their areas of interest.Applicants should submit only one application for Informatics programmes. Generally, we consider up to two applications for programmes in the College of Science and Engineering to ensure offers reach as many students as possible. However, due to high demand in Informatics, we accept just one application per candidate in this area, with the second available for other Science and Engineering programmes.
