About the course

The Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting prepares students for a career as a commercial pilot through comprehensive training. Participants complete their professional pilot program, including hands-on flight training, at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy at Moorabbin Airport, earning a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Multi-engine Command Instrument Rating (MCIR), Multi Crew Cooperation and Jet Orientation Course or Flight Instructor Rating, Frozen Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), and coursework in aviation human factors, management, and technology. This program delivers advanced skills and knowledge beyond basic piloting essentials, enabling graduates to thrive in various aviation roles, both in the cockpit and elsewhere. The combination of flying credentials and a bachelor's degree positions alumni as valuable assets to employers. Swinburne University also provides an honours year option for this degree.
