The programme equips students for careers in commercial, rural, residential, or industrial property, fostering essential skills, networks, and confidence. Alumni have joined prestigious firms like Deloitte Real Estate, Hamptons International, and Savills. Accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the course covers key topics including property acquisition, sales, letting, development, management, town planning, and building construction.The curriculum addresses both rural and urban property issues across all years, with a flexible structure divided into Property, Land Use and Development, and Business streams. Learning occurs through lectures, tutorials, industry visits, practical sessions, and real-life case studies, culminating in a personalised research project. Students can transfer to Rural Land Management after the first or second year. Work placements are encouraged during holidays, with a mandatory minimum two-week placement at the end of the second year. Modules are assessed via examinations, coursework, presentations, and reports, ensuring comprehensive professional preparation.
