This program integrates science and business practices tailored to the sports horse sector, equipping you with essential skills for professional success.The course structure delivers a thorough foundation in horse racing through lectures, seminars, visiting speakers, and field trips, with assessments via reports, business plans, exams, case studies, and presentations. A key component is the Research Project, where you design and execute independent research focused on science or business, potentially leading to publication in academic journals. In your second year, undertake a 15-week work placement at prestigious sites like Highclere Stud, France Galop, Newsells Park Stud, Jockey Club Estates, or Arena Racing Company.
