Access to Farm491 for on-farm product development and RAU farms for research trials bridges laboratory, field, market, and farm. Alumni have joined organisations like Agrii, NIAB TAG, and AGCO.Learning occurs through lectures, seminars, and practicals at RAU farms, local sites, and labs, with assessments blending exams and coursework such as case studies, presentations, and reports. The fourth-year Research Project allows investigation of topics relevant to personal interests or future careers. A 12-month placement enhances skills, career insight, and industry engagement, often with prestigious UK or global firms, fostering confidence and networks.
