The Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree integrates essential business skills with specialized engineering expertise, enabling students to complete both qualifications in five years of full-time study. Engineering majors encompass civil, chemical and sustainable process, computer and software systems, electrical, electrical and aerospace, mechatronics, mechanical, and medical. Business majors include accounting, advertising, finance, financial planning, economics, human resource management, international business, management, marketing, and public relations. This program embeds honours-level content throughout, providing advanced knowledge and skills to enhance career opportunities or further research, while maintaining standard durations of four years for a single engineering honours degree and five years for the double degree. The curriculum features common first-year units that offer broad foundational principles and flexible major options to guide career specialization.Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is a core element of the engineering curriculum, helping students develop a portfolio of professional competencies. All participants must complete 60 days (equivalent to 450 hours) of approved work experience in an engineering environment.
