Combined with interaction design expertise, it prepares students for careers in product design, development, structural engineering, transport, and consultancy, with options to specialize in majors such as civil, computer and software systems, electrical and aerospace, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, medical, or chemical process engineering. Work Integrated Learning is a core component, requiring 60 days (450 hours) of approved engineering work experience to build a portfolio of professional competencies.
