Psychology with Criminology, BSc (Hons), with industry placement

Northumbria University's Psychology with Criminology degree equips students with essential skills to interpret human behaviour, investigate crime motivations and causes of victimisation, and analyse societal responses to crime.Delivered by research-active academics in modern facilities across the Health and Life Sciences and Arts, Design and Social Sciences faculties, the programme covers psychological theories, diverse domains, and criminology modules on contemporary criminality and the justice system. Students explore global issues from offender and victim perspectives, undertake a tailored final-year research project, and gain qualifications for careers in research, education, psychology, or criminal justice. To achieve Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society, students must attain a 2:2 or higher and pass the empirical psychology project.
